Public API (planned)

Status: Planned. There is no public API yet. This page will hold the reference when one ships.

Today

Alzar's web app talks to its own backend; those endpoints are internal and not supported for outside use. The only inbound HTTP endpoints are callbacks from connected providers (payment, accounting and payroll notifications), which are verified by signature and are not for customer use.

Intended direction

• A REST API scoped to a single workspace, authenticated with revocable per-workspace API keys.
• Read access first (customers, jobs, estimates, invoices), then writes.
• Outbound webhooks for key events (invoice paid, estimate signed, job stage changed).
• Versioned URLs and a published changelog so integrations do not break silently.
