Payments

A workspace can connect any combination of payment rails. When an invoice is sent, the customer sees a pay button for each connected rail. When a payment completes, the invoice is marked Paid automatically, with the method recorded.

Stripe (card payments)

Status: Live.

  • The workspace connects its own Stripe account from Settings → Connectors through Stripe's embedded onboarding. No API keys are pasted.
  • Each invoice gets a Stripe payment link. Funds go directly to the workspace's connected Stripe account.
  • Stripe notifies Alzar by webhook when payment succeeds; the invoice then records the payment method and time.

Alzar's own subscription billing (what a workspace pays Alzar for the platform) is separate from this: there the workspace is a normal Stripe customer of Alzar.

PayPal

Status: In development.

  • The workspace clicks Connect PayPal, signs in to PayPal and approves. Alzar links the account by merchant ID.
  • Funds land directly in the workspace's PayPal account; Alzar never holds them.
  • Venmo is not a separate connector. It appears at PayPal checkout only where PayPal offers it to the buyer.
  • An advanced mode lets a workspace use its own PayPal REST app instead.

Moov (ACH bank transfer)

Status: In development.

Moov adds low-cost bank transfers and is used for two separate things:

Customer invoices Workspace's own Alzar subscription
Who pays whom Customer pays the workspace Workspace pays Alzar
Payer needs a Moov account No, pays on a hosted page by ACH debit Links a bank once through Moov's secure widget
Result Invoice marked Paid (moov_ach) Subscription marked active

Bank account and routing numbers are entered in Moov's browser component and never reach Alzar's servers or database; Alzar stores only the resulting payment-method identifier.
