Estimator

The Estimator turns a job's measurements into a professional cost proposal. It works in two modes.

Quick estimate

Start with the roof's surface area and a complexity level — Simple, Average, or Complex. Alzar calculates a budget price in seconds. A disclaimer is automatically included on the proposal letting the customer know the final price is subject to a full cut-list review.

This mode is best for first conversations and early-stage quoting when you do not yet have exact measurements.

Detailed estimate

Enter each panel run (area, pitch, waste %) and each trim row (lineal feet, girth, number of bends). Alzar works out:

• Material cost from your panel area and trim runs
• Sale price at your target margin
• Accessories — screws, clips, rivets, butyl tape, and tube sealant counted automatically from your panel type and fastener spacing
• Sheet nesting — trim is optimised onto sheets to minimise scrap, and you pay only for metal used

This mode produces a final price ready to sign and send.

What you get

Every estimate produces:

• An itemised proposal listing panels, trim, accessories, delivery, tax, and any discount
• A branded PDF with your company logo and contact information, ready to send to the customer
• The automatic disclaimer in Quick mode noting that a detailed review may change the price
• A quote that flows straight into job-costing the moment it is accepted
