How Alzar calculates

Alzar handles the math so you can focus on the job. Here is what the system works out for you automatically.

Roof area

Roof area is adjusted for pitch and your waste percentage, so the material quantity accounts for the real slope of the roof and the offcuts you will lose at edges and penetrations.

Trim nesting

Trim pieces are nested onto sheets to minimise scrap. You are charged only for the metal that goes into your job — not for a full sheet if only part of it is used.

Accessories

Screws, clips, rivets, butyl tape, and tube sealant are counted automatically based on your panel type, coverage area, and fastener spacing. You do not need to calculate these by hand.

Sale price

Sale price is set from your target margin, so the profit you set is the profit you see on the sale.

Order weight

Order weight is calculated per gauge for each material in the job, so delivery planning and freight quotes start from accurate figures rather than guesses.
